Are you wondering what friendship group is all about? Here's an inside look at friendship club.

Looking for a warm and welcoming place to make friends? Come to Friendship Club and connect. Each week rotates activities like game night, arts and crafts, video gamer night, aerial hammocks, and outings. Parents/guardians will check-in and drop their kids off for an hour where kids will have fun creating connections, building friendships, and learning friendship skills along the way which are naturally embedded into the club.

Welcome: Creating connections and building friendships

Friendship club starts out with a warm up activity meant to build connections and learn more about peers in the group. Each time we have a different warm up activity.

Recently, on Aerial hammock night, we started with the M&M challenge. Get to know you questions match to every M&M color (Yellow: Your favorite kind of food; Red: Something you’re good at; Blue: Your favorite vacation, and so on). We sit in a circle, pass around a pack of M&Ms, each person picks an M&M and whichever color they get, they have a question to answer. We go until the pack is empty. Kids love this activity and learn that they often have a lot in common with others.

Main Activity Time: Aerial Hammocks

Each week rotates activities like game night, arts and crafts, video gamer night, aerial hammocks, and outings.

This week's activity was Aerial Hammocks. Kids love to use the hammocks to swing, relax, and have fun. We have music in the background, laugh, and move.
